Linksys SRW2048 Console Access

I had a Linksys SRW2048 switch with DHCP disabled. I needed to access the console to enable DHCP, but no serial-to-USB adapter could make the connection to the console. Luckily, I found a motherboard with a serial port, and just connected the pins 2, 3, and 5 of the switch to the same pin numbers on the motherboard with some jump wires to resemble a Straight-Through cable, and it worked!
